Amazon to Invest $50 Billion in AI Supercomputers for U.S. Government
Amazon (AMZN) has unveiled a $50 billion investment plan to expand artificial intelligence and supercomputing capacity for the U.S. government. The initiative, set to launch in 2026, will add 1.3 gigawatts of high-performance computing power—enough to energize approximately 750,000 households—to AWS's government-focused segments, including Top Secret, Secret, and GovCloud.
The MOVE marks one of the largest cloud infrastructure commitments to the public sector. Analysts remain bullish on AMZN stock, with a consensus Strong Buy rating and a 31% upside projected from current levels.
